Sometimes magic happens and angels do exist! Tika Stardust is the greatest love giver I know. She is fighting the rights for people with emotional and physical disabilities to express their intimacy and sexual needs.

For years, Tika worked in the more traditional healthcare industry. It was this work that made her aware of how intimacy and sexual needs are both ignored and remain taboo. Her work is documented in the book Een stukje liefde.

I am blessed that I met Tika at a special moment in my life. We couldn’t stop talking and, apart from being an amazing woman, she was busy trying to get the taboo of love and intimacy for handicapped and mentally disabled people out in the open. I was happy to help her get images to go with her story.
I accompanied her to several clients and I could feel the love and respect.

She has been on television, TEDX and was interviewed by several newspapers. A short documentary won the price for “Best Story” and also In Hongkong and Taiwan they made a documentary where sex is a difficult subject to talk about. I am very proud to see my photo’s in all these media and if I didn’t live on Ibiza I would love to follow her on her journey.
